What is the difference between VANOC and 2010 Legacies Now?

VANOC is responsible for the planning and staging of the 2010 Winter Games. 2010 Legacies Now is an initiative of the Province of British Columbia, with the mandate to develop and support community partners and organizations around the Province to ensure that every region of BC benefits from the legacies of 2010. 2010 Legacies Now will be contributing to lasting legacies in sport and recreations, the arts, literacy, and volunteerism.
